This area of the site is dedicated to ant keeping. With information we hope you will find useful about all sorts of things. Ant Farms, Ant Foods, Ant Health etc. I suppose one of the most important things, if not THE important thing with ants and their wellbeing, is patience. Ant keeping is a valuable and interesting way to pass your spare time. Whether you actually have the ants or are planning to go out and find some, patience is what will give you the best results. Too many times you will see on forums how someone has been upset because their ants don't do much, or don't breed fast enough. Its true, I've nearly fallen into the same trap myself. Looking after your ants with as little contact by yourself will bring the greatest rewards. Ants after all are not like dogs, cats or hamsters, they are wild insects with no sense of loyalty to anything except their own kind and their queen. The ant keeping area will be broken down into the following areas: How to build your own formicarium Hints and Tips Good luck, we hope you enjoy it, and if you have any information, hints or tips that you would like added, then feel free to email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it |
